The primary roles of a Machine Minder is to oversee operation of their designated line. Machine Minder will ensure equipment is set up properly, labor is sufficient, trouble shoot machine issues, ensures incoming beet process, and result of beet quality, educates their team on all safety procedures, ensures safety compliance, ensure paperwork is completed as required, and is the preferred trainer on their designated line. The Machine Minder must also operate and maintain various packaging, sealing, weighing or retort equipment based on assignment, to ensure beet packages and products are within specifications. They are responsible for directing line personnel and work as part of the operation team, while demonstrating the ability to work independently. Production Operator - Rochester, NYThe Love Beets production facility is looking for a Production Operator to take on a variety of roles according to production schedule, including operation of pack out areas and process lines.
Production operators are assigned to a variety of roles depending on production schedule need. The pack out area requires operators to utilize and maintain various packaging, labeling and product sleeves to complete assembly of finished goods into a retail based shipping pallet. All process lines require beet and packaging inspection that adheres to the Love beets quality standards. Retort trolley loading and transport requires pacing and counting skills. Must be able to interact in a team based environment within a working production cell, while demonstrating the ability to work independently.
