Plant Powered Fun with a Side of Southern Charm

Our team headed down south to spread the Love Beets love!

We never need an excuse to share our tasty marinated beets, cooked beets, and beet juices, but when we had the opportunity to spread the love down at the Asheville VeganFest, we jumped on the next flight to North Carolina! While we embrace every kind of wellness-focused lifestyle, it’s by happy chance that most of our products are entirely vegan friendly – in fact, our whole line is, except for our Honey + Ginger Marinated Baby Beets (at least they’re “bee-gan” friendly!)IMG_1990

This was Love Beets’ first year attending the VeganFest, and it was amazing to see their community support a cruelty-free lifestyle through all kinds of delicious food, refreshing drinks, handmade clothing, unique crafts, and general information sessions. What made the experience even more exciting was that the festival itself benefitted Brother Wolf Animal Sanctuary, which is an Asheville based, no-kill animal shelter with big plans to open an 80 acre pasture for all kinds of animals to live happy lives!

We were able to share our beets and juices with the festival attendees, many of whom loved our Organic Beet Juice with a Hint of Ginger so much that they brought some home! Those who follow a vegan lifestyle know that sometimes “pre-vegan” cravings can hit hard – so our Smoky BBQ Shredded Beets are somewhat of a lifesaver for when that need for a juicy of savory goodness strikes.

Vegans and omnivores alike were raving about our newest addition to our marinated line, and we can speak from personal experience when we saw that our Smoky Beet Reuben Sammie might just be better than its corned beef cousin!

All in all, the festival was a lovely day of plant powered fun in the sun, and we couldn’t be happier to have attended! Curious about our products or want to learn more about how to incorporate Love Beets into your vegan lifestyle? We’d love to chat!
