Beet Latte

What to do

  1. Pour a shot of hot espresso or coffee into a large mug and gently whisk in the beetroot powder, spices, and sweetener.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat the almond milk until just barely simmering, stir in the vanilla extract, and then pour into a blender or use a milk frother to froth.
  3. Pour the frothed milk into the mug with the shot of espresso, creating latte art as you pour. Sprinkle with beet powder if desired and serve.

What you’ll Need

1 shot of espresso (or 2 ounces of strong brewed coffee)

2 tsp Love Beets beet powder

1/8 tsp ground cinnamon

1/8 tsp ground ginger

Pinch of ground cloves

Pinch of ground nutmeg

2 tsp maple syrup or honey

¼ tsp vanilla extract or vanilla bean powder

1 cup almond milk
